Logos With a Holiday Twist

Why So Static?

Why don’t we ever change our logos? Day in and day out, it’s always exactly the same, neither a jot nor a tittle changes. This is good logic when it’s applied to the bible, but applying the same philosophy to your logo is another matter. When it comes to logos, why is it that nothing changes? Is there an unspoken law, written our collective subconscious, which prohibits the existence of more than one version of our logos? If you already have a logo and it’s doing what it’s paid to do, thank goodness for it, but hopefully this is not the reason you won’t dress it up a little for the holidays. All the more reason to invite it to the party. Let it come along and shake things up a bit.

Simple Changes Can Go a Long Way.

Don’t misunderstand, no one suggests using two completely different logos because, as you know, that would very probably lead to confusion, which none of us wants. Neither is it advised that you replace your logo when you like it. What we’d like to suggest though, is that for holidays, let’s take Christmas as an example, you might temporarily add a wreath, candy cane, Santa’s hat, or a simple snowflake to your logo. Then use your dressed up logo on your Christmas cards, on the stamps you use during the holiday season, or whatever suits you or your business. Your logo has been sitting around for too long wasting its untapped potential. Use it and let the world know your business is alive and celebrates the holidays.

If you want more information about how we can help you bring new life to your old logo and also liven up everyone else’s holidays at the same time contact us.
